KYLERTOWN – An Arizona man is in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail after police reportedly found 127 pounds of marijuana in the motor home he was driving.
State police at Clearfield stopped to help 60-year-old Richard Reagan of Pima, Ariz., vehicle broke down on I-80 near mile marker 132 at about 7:20 a.m. Wednesday. According to reports, police saw “several indicators of drug activity,” which led officers to ask for consent to search the vehicle.
Troopers reportedly found several large bundles of a suspected controlled substance. Reagan was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking, and the motor home was towed to the police barracks.
A search warrant was obtained, and a total of 11 bundles were found in the vehicle. The total weight of all of the bundles is about 127 pounds.
Reagan was then arraigned on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and other counts. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday.
